Associate Patient Care CoordinatorLocation: WellMed at Mesquite, TX 584Position Type: Contract OnlyContract Dates: October 2026 – December 2026Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMJob SummaryThe Associate Patient Care Coordinator will support the daily operations of a busy WellMed medical office by providing excellent patient service, answering incoming calls, greeting patients, and confirming patient appointments. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer and route incoming patient phone calls.Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience.Confirm and verify patient appointments.Assist patients with general questions and requests.Provide excellent customer service to patients, staff, and providers.Communicate appointment information clearly and accurately.Assist with day-to-day administrative and front-office duties as needed.Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling patient information.Support the medical office team to ensure efficient patient flow and daily operations.Team EnvironmentThe candidate will work as part of a collaborative healthcare team consisting of:1 Clinical Assistant (CA)4 Quality Medical Assistants (QMAs)2 LVNs7 Providers10 Medical Assistants (MAs)2 Lab Medical Assistants5 Patient Services Representatives (PSRs)Required QualificationsAt least 1 year of customer service experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Professional and patient-focused demeanor.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule.Preferred QualificationsBilingual skills are a plus.Previous medical office or healthcare experience preferred.Experience working directly with patients is highly desirable.Important: This is a contract-only opportunity expected to run from October 2026 through December 2026.
