A leading healthcare facility in North Carolina is seeking a skilled obstetrics physician for locum tenens assignments, starting from July 6–10, with opportunities for ongoing contribution. This position involves providing care to patients at two locations, with scheduling focused on safety and patient care. All-inclusive agreements are preferred, and NC Medicaid Eligibility is required. Credentialing is efficient, and temporary privileges are available.

• Conduct patient consultations and manage prenatal, childbirth, and postnatal care
• Perform routine deliveries and manage complicated deliveries, including C-sections and breech births
• Interpret and perform OB ultrasounds, manage low and high-risk pregnancies, and make decisions for C-sections
• Provide office and minor gynecological procedures
• Engage in operative/major gynecological surgeries when necessary

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• ACLS certification required
• Experience with handling both routine and complex obstetric cases
• NC Medicaid Eligibility required

• Flexible, varies by assignment needs

• Proficient in managing both low and high-risk pregnancies
• Skilled in FHR interpretation and obstetric ultrasound performance
• Ability to perform and interpret Level I/Screening ultrasounds
• Expertise in routine deliveries, including operative and complicated deliveries
• Experience in office/minor and surgical gynecology procedures
