General Production Associate

Norton Shores, MI, 1st Shift, $18.75 per hour

Job Summary

A growing Norton Shores manufacturer specializing in the design and production of gauges and electronic components is seeking dependable General Production Associates for 1st shift. This role offers a quieter, self-sufficient work environment while supporting a fast-paced manufacturing process. Candidates will assist with assembly, soldering, inspection, and repair of circuit boards and wire harnesses. Overtime may be required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform basic assembly functions with circuit boards and wire harnesses
• Complete hand soldering of components
• Touch-up through-hole and surface mount boards
• Perform rework and repair of electronic components
• Conduct detailed inspections of circuit boards and wire harnesses
• Inspect part placements, solder quality, and final assembly
• Follow company quality standards and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to all safety and workplace policies

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand and execute company quality standards
• Ability to work in a steady, medium- to fast-paced environment
• Basic soldering experience preferred
• Strong inspection skills with attention to detail
• Knowledge of printed circuit boards, wire harnesses, and final assembly inspection preferred
