Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years of experience, telemetry or higher experience License: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: - EKG competency and rhythm interpretation - Health data assessment - Health teaching - Nursing care - Therapy and treatment - Medical functions execution - Patient referral - Treatment plan monitoring - Documentation Description: Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care. Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data. Performs health teaching and health counseling. Provides therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others. Executes delegated medical functions. Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment. Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans. Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. Uses resources as needed. Promotes mission, vision, and values and abides by service behavior standards. Performs other duties as assigned. May be required to float to other departments based on business need. May be required to be placed on call during a regularly scheduled shift. Average 3-5 patients depending on acuity and shift. Uses Epic for documentation and UKG Pro/Kronos for timekeeping and schedule. Preferred Skills & Experience: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
