Position Details Job Type: PRN/Registry Schedule: Monday to Thursday; be able to work at least 3 shifts in a month Work Location: In-person at Bloomington Eye Institute Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) accrual Annual shoe allowance Employer provided training and development Surgical scrubs provided Qualifications Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred Experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Operating Room (OR), Critical Care, or Recovery Room is preferred but not required Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment Ability to work in a stressful environment while remaining friendly and welcoming to patients and co-workers BLS required; ACLS and/or PALS preferred but not required Responsibilities Conduct patient interviews, perform pre-testing, and manage admissions and discharges with proper documentation Circulate in the procedure room and administer IV conscious sedation as needed Transcribe and implement physicians’ orders accurately Perform IV punctures, dispense medications, and carry out venipunctures Monitor and recognize patient rhythms Maintain adherence to all policies and procedures, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff Communicate effectively regarding patient care and personnel matters Pay The starting range for this position is $33.00 - $38.31/hr, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and market considerations. #J-18808-Ljbffr Gailey Eye Clinic
