Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician Assistant

- Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible psychiatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Community health center setting
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric care including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
- Manage conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications
- Provide crisis intervention and psychotherapy, as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in quality assurance and patient-centered medical home initiatives
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Outpatient only
- Work alongside physicians and APPs
- EMR: eClinicalWorks

Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree (NP or PA program)
- Active South Carolina license (or ability to obtain)
- National certification required (PMHNP-BC or NCCPA; CAQ in Psychiatry preferred for PAs)
- BLS certification required
- Two or more years of psychiatric experience strongly preferred
Organization Information:
- Established community healthcare organization with 12+ locations

- $10,000 sign-on bonus
- Generous PTO (starting at 2.7 weeks, increasing to 6 weeks)
- CME allowance: $3,500 annually + 40 hours CME time
