Job Description Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN / Home Care and Facility Staffing Pasco County and Pinellas County, FL Powell Supportive Services, Inc. is a fast growing Health Care Company. We are currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with a minimum of one year home care or medical facility experience to provide care for clients in Pasco and Pinellas County areas. Routine Functions Performs routine nursing duties including but not limited to: Assistance with ADLs and IADLs. Client and caregiver health instruction. Notifies the Registered Nurse or Clinical Director of any changes in client’s condition. Performs the following where training or demonstrated skills and the state nurse practice act permits: inserting and irrigating tubes and Foley catheters. Administering oxygen by mask or cannula. Ventilator, tracheostomy care and suctioning endotracheal. Supervision of aides and other health care team members. Qualifications Current LPN license with the State Board of Nursing in the State of Florida. One year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the last three years in a supervised setting. Proof of current physical/PPD. Additional Information Sympathetic attitude toward care of disabled or sick. Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions. Evidence of maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands. Good verbal and written communication skills.
