Now Hiring: Lead Floral Designer / Floral Shop Manager and Floral Designers
The Total Event Florist | Long Island, NY
The Total Event is growing our floral team. We’re seeking an experienced Lead Floral Designer / Floral Shop Manager for a full-time position, as well as talented Floral Designers . We’re looking for personable, creative people who can produce beautiful work and thrive in a fast-paced shop.
Lead Floral Designer / Floral Shop Manager
This full-time role combines hands-on floral design with daily shop leadership. Responsibilities include:
- Designing arrangements for everyday occasions, weddings, funerals, and special events.
- Overseeing floral production, assigning work, and meeting order and delivery deadlines.
- Processing and fulfilling orders through 1-800-Flowers, FTD, and Teleflora according to each service’s requirements.
- Consulting with customers about wedding, funeral, and event flowers.
- Maintaining design quality, managing flower and supply inventory, and supporting and training the floral team.
- Resolving customer questions and order concerns with care and professionalism.
Qualified candidates should have strong professional floral design experience, including wedding and funeral work; knowledge of 1-800-Flowers, FTD, and Teleflora; and experience leading designers or managing floral shop operations.
Floral Designers
Our floral designers create arrangements for everyday orders, weddings, funerals, and special events. Candidates should have professional floral design experience, attention to detail, and the ability to complete orders efficiently while maintaining quality. Experience with 1-800-Flowers, FTD, and Teleflora is a plus.
For both roles , we value excellent customer service, teamwork, and the ability to stay organized during busy periods. Applicants should be available to work weekends and floral holidays.
