Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join a dynamic educational setting near Saint Augustine, FL for a 12-week maternity leave cover. This full-time, contract position offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students' well-being and support their growth during the first weeks of the school year. The role involves serving across multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity, delivering expert therapy services to a diverse school-aged population.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Florida Department of Health Physical Therapy license
• School-based experience strongly preferred
• Ability to travel between multiple campuses as needed
• Experience working with children or adolescents in therapeutic or educational settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy assessments and deliver interventions to meet IEP goals for students with physical disabilities and developmental needs
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other therapeutic staff to optimize student outcomes
• Maintain documentation and records in accordance with school district and state requirements
• Attend meetings and contribute insights to interdisciplinary teams as needed
• Adapt services to support students across a variety of school environments and age ranges

Additional Details:

• Anticipated assignment dates: August 10, 2026 – October 30, 2026 (first 12 weeks of the school year), with possible summer start for extended school year
• Full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week
• Must complete fingerprinting and secure a JLA badge (status of previous prints may be transferable if available through the AHCA Clearinghouse)
