RN - PACU Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years in PACU required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: 2 years of experience in PACU Strong experience with a variety of surgical cases First-time travelers must have 3+ years of PACU experience Description:Registered Nurse for the PACU department.Schedule consists of Monday to Friday with flexibility required.Must be open to working any days during the week.No call is required for this position.The unit seeks well-rounded RNs with experience in all types of surgeries.Travelers may be expected to float between facilities as necessary.Candidates should commit to 3 of the 5 major holidays.RTO requests must be submitted upfront.The facility requires all candidates to have relevant certifications.No specific days off can be guaranteed.The patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.Daily patient census averages around 40.The unit accommodates a variety of surgeries and procedures.Experience with various surgical approaches and recovery management is essential.This role demands proficient clinical skills and a commitment to patient care.Candidates should be familiar with standard nursing protocols and emergency responses. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
