UX Engineer

Matic is hiring a UX Engineer / Design Engineer to help build and refine its mobile app experience. The role combines design and engineering, working with product designers and engineers to turn interaction concepts into production-ready UI for app experiences including maps, cleaning controls, robot status, and feature configuration. The role is described as entry-to-mid-level with growth potential. What you\'ll do Build and ship high-quality UI in Matic’s mobile app Translate Figma designs and prototypes into production-ready components Implement smooth animations and micro-interactions Help visualize robot behaviors such as mapping, obstacle detection, and cleaning states Collaborate with product design to refine interaction details Partner with design, software, algorithms, and hardware teams to ensure accurate real-time feedback Contribute to and help evolve a scalable design system in code Participate in feature planning and iteration discussions What they\'re looking for 1–4+ years of experience in front-end or mobile development Experience building product-facing UI, with mobile preferred Familiarity with Rust and/or Python, iOS and/or Android Strong attention to detail in spacing, hierarchy, motion, and interaction Comfort working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment Curiosity about connected devices and how software interfaces with hardware Clear communication skills and willingness to give and receive feedback Portfolio showcasing relevant design work #J-18808-Ljbffr Into Design Systems
