The ideal candidate will have knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with revenue recognition, reporting, and controls. This person will report to the NACA Supervisor and interact with segment finance leads for revenue recognition.What You'll DoMonthly Accounting CloseRevenue Recognition:Review sales contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition.Analyze and understand the practices within the segment to ensure proper revenue recognition and setup in the system.Prepare revenue journal entries and account reconciliations.Calculate revenue reserves and document reserve assessment under ASC 606.Prepare and analyze revenue related reports.Document revenue-related policies and procedures.Assess and document collectability risk due to aging WIP and AR.Prepare and analyze monthly expense fluctuationsIdentify process issues and implement improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.Support and improve month, quarter, and year-end close processes, reporting, and audits.Prepare and post other monthly journal entries including bad debt expense and ad hoc entries.Maintain journal entry tracker and ensure all journal entries are supported with strong documentation and required approvals.Support other special projects and non-recurring tasks as directed by the North America Core Accounting Senior Manager.How You'll GrowWe are committed to investing and supporting you in your professional development and we have developed a range of programs focused on fostering leadership, growth and development opportunities.
