Quality Inspector II

The Quality Inspector II verifies and validates that products or services meet specified requirements throughout the Quality Assurance Inspection processes. This position is part of Pall Aerospace Quality Assurance and is located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with routine overtime. The role reports to the Quality Control Inspection Manager. Applicants must have U.S. citizenship, legal permanent residency, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To Perform final dimensional and visual inspections for all value streams and Receiving Inspection, ensuring parts carry approved documentation and certification and meet Purchase Order requirements. Conduct in‑process and final inspections for compliance with drawings, documentation, and customer requirements; inspect complex, close‑tolerance machined parts and sub‑assemblies using CMM, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, optical comparators, height gauges, ring gauges, pin gauges, etc. Participate in Quality Problem Resolution, writing non‑conformances and working with the Quality Engineer to implement corrective actions. The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) and at least two years of inspection experience in an aerospace, military, or machining manufacturing environment compliant with ISO9001 / AS9100. Experience interpreting complex engineering part drawings, blueprint reading, and working with aerospace customer flowdowns. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and an ERP system such as SAP; skilled with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, comparators, oscilloscopes, vision systems, and other precision instruments. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements Ability to work overtime and flexible hours to meet deliverable deadlines. Required lifting weight: 35 lbs; lifting frequency: daily; ability to bend, lift, sit, stand for long periods, with good manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination. Minimum vision of 20/25 (with correction). Must pass Ishihara’s Test for Color Deficiency and Jaeger Level1 eye examinations per PACS‑PQ‑0029. Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
