Job Summary Lead Respiratory Therapist FT Nights ***$20,000.00 Sign-On Bonus (Paid over 2 Years)*** The Team Leader will provide direct oversight over Respiratory staff and participate in evaluations and counseling sessions of Respiratory staff. The Leader will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care given to patients at PMC requiring respiratory therapy services. Responsibilities Perform and document basic assessment. Identify deviations for the norm based on standards. Reassess, identify, and prioritize problems in accordance with the assessment. Apply standards of care initiated and utilized in accordance with the RT Department standards. Identify and utilize available resources to achieve standards of care. Revise standards of care in accordance with RT Department standards. Evaluate and modify care based on subjective and objective patient responses. Modify standards of care based on achieved patient outcomes. Documentation reflects department standards. Identify needs and customize education for patients and families. Coordinate, communicate, and delegate patient care activities to team members appropriately. Communicate patient reports in a concise, accurate, and timely manner in accordance with RT Department standards. Evaluate care provided by direct observation. Perform related duties as required. Qualifications Required: Education: Graduate of an approved and accredited Respiratory Therapy program; Associate degree in Science Experience: 5 years of Critical Care experience Licensure/Certification: Minimum of CRT American Heart Association BLS CPR, must be obtained within 7 days of hire American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, and NRP within orientation period. Preferred: Experience: Level 2 or 3 NICU experience Minimum of 1 year of Team Leader/Supervisory experience Licensure/Certification: RRT Organization Description Piedmont Medical Network has served the community of York County and beyond for more than 30 years.
