Remote-Eligible Trauma Registry Data Specialist
University of California, San Diego
UC San Diego is seeking an Assistant Trauma Registrar to support the Trauma Program by collecting, abstracting, and maintaining trauma patient data for the registry, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements and supporting performance improvement, research, and accreditation activities.
The role collaborates to identify eligible cases, abstracts data from EMRs, operative reports, EMS, and ancillary documentation, enters data timely, and protects patient privacy under HIPAA.
