ICU Registered Nurse (RN)Join a dynamic, fast-paced ICU with the following specifications:Number of Beds: 38Level II Trauma Center with a diverse mix of patients, including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgery cases.Post-operative care for open-heart patients; experience with VV and VA ECMO, balloon pumps, Impella, and CRRT is essential.Unit Staff: Approximately 125 members.Typical Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse and 16-18 staff members.Typical Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse and 16-18 staff members.Patient Ratios: 2:1 to 1:1 based on patient acuity.Type of Equipment: Stryker beds, Avea ventilators, GE monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Maquet IABP, Vigilance II monitors, Impella, ECMO (Maquet Cardiohelp and Medtronic Vital Flow), and NICOM.Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech.Required Skills:Minimum of 1 year of current ICU hospital experience.BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.Preferred Skills:Experience with Meditech EMR.Caring for CVICU/CTICU patients, specifically those immediately following open-heart surgery.Bedside procedures including bronchoscopy, GI scopes, chest tube insertion, arterial and central line insertions.Airway management and frequent titration of medication drips.Best Personality Fit:Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills.Strong attention to detail.Located near the mountains, offering year-round outdoor activities, including skiing and hiking.
