Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Tech - General to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and accurately document findings.
• Float between Shoreline Medical Center, North Haven Medical Center, Long Wharf Medical Center, and Smilow Cancer Hospital.
• Ensure equipment functionality and perform routine quality assurance tests.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and universal precautions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of ultrasound rooms and equipment.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team for optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of ultrasound experience required.
• ARRT M, ARRT R certification required.
• Experience with Hologic equipment is essential.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and handle high patient volumes.
