Registered Nurse Clinical Director

Overview Lead clinical operations at a hospice care organization, ensuring exceptional patient care and compliance with healthcare standards. Supervise a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and professional development among clinicians. Coordinate patient services to align with established hospice program policies and regulatory guidelines. Conduct quality assurance activities, including chart audits and medical record reviews for compliance. Develop and implement orientation and training programs for clinical staff to enhance their proficiency. Evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and counseling to improve service delivery. Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to refine patient care plans and address challenges effectively. Promote a positive work culture and support organizational growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities & Duties Coordinate and oversee patient services, ensuring alignment with hospice program policies and standards. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of clinicians, fostering continuous improvement in care delivery. Conduct chart audits and maintain medical records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and deliver orientation and in-service training programs for clinical staff. Evaluate clinical staff performance, offering feedback and counseling to enhance their skills. Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to address patient care plans and foster collaboration. Ensure adherence to Federal, State, and organizational guidelines in hospice care practices. Support organizational growth and maintain a positive work environment. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare preferred; BSN required. Registered Nurse with a current state license to practice as a professional nurse. Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in hospice or home health care. At least 1 year of supervisory experience in hospice or home health care preferred. Proficiency in crisis intervention, pain management, and family counseling. Computer proficiency, including experience with EMR systems. Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with access to reliable transportation. Strong leadership and emotional intelligence skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
