Direct Support Professional HCBS Respite Workers in NYC
Job Summary:

About the Role:
As a Direct Support Professional - HCBS Respite Worker, you will provide person-centered, community-based care to children and families with behavioral health or developmental challenges. Your role will involve providing temporary relief and support to families in their homes and communities while helping children develop new skills and build strong relationships.
Responsibilities:
Provide supervision and support to children and youth
Engage clients in recreational and skill-building activities
Support social, communication, and daily living skills
Complete basic documentation and session notes
Work in home and community settings
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience working with children preferred
Reliable, patient, and professional
Must be willing to complete required NYS trainings and clearances
Pay and Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate of $22 per hour
Flexible part-time schedule
Training and supervision provided
