Kodiak College CAMP Coordinator

Kodiak College is seeking applicants for a College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) Coordinator.

We're looking for someone who connect with people and can communicate effectively with students from a variety of backgrounds. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while also collaborating as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with migrant, seasonal, or other underserved communities is a plus, as is bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, English and Tagalog, or English and Alutiiq. We'd also love to see experience coordinating programs or events and a general understanding of higher education, especially within a community college setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work (or a related field) and two years relevant experience, or commensurate experience.

Position Details:

This position is located on the Kodiak College campus on Kodiak Island. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule , Grade 79, based on education and experience.
