Bayshore Dental Center is seeking a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant with at least three years of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a versatile, motivated professional who is comfortable working chairside while also being willing to support the front office as needed. The ideal candidate values efficiency, teamwork, and delivering a positive patient experience, whether assisting clinically or helping with front-office responsibilities. 

Schedule
Monday - Thursday 9-5

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of procedures 
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories in accordance with infection control protocols 
• Take digital radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images 
• Record and update patient medical histories and clinical notes accurately 
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures 
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care 
• Maintain operatory cleanliness and organization 
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed 
• Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling and patient communication

• Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience required
• Ability to work front office when needed
• Open Dental experience required
• X-ray certification (or ability to obtain per state requirements) 
• Current CPR/BLS certification required 
• EFDA certification preferred (if applicable) 
• Strong clinical and organizational skills 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
