What You’ll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on reviews and clinical interviews
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary mental health team to coordinate care and treatment
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans
• Perform routine rounds within the facility to assess inmate mental health and adjustment
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and supportive interventions for inmates in need
• Consult with psychiatry, medical staff, security, and other personnel to support mental health initiatives
• Demonstrate expertise in psychological counseling techniques suited for a correctional environment

What You Need

• Valid Psychologist license in Georgia or eligibility for license reciprocity
• BLS certification (or pending completion)
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a correctional setting
• Ability to perform assessments and provide counseling calmly and effectively
