Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Create and implement comprehensive treatment plans with appropriate therapeutic interventions that are uniquely tailored to each patient’s needs. \n
- Engage in crisis management, employing effective de-escalation techniques when necessary to maintain client safety and support. \n
- Collect and meticulously document patient data, consistently monitoring progress to inform ongoing treatment decisions. \n

- Facilitate therapeutic group sessions, collaboratively engaging clients in their healing journey while encouraging mutual support and understanding. \n
At Four Winds Therapy, we cater to a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. Our counselors must be adept at addressing various mental health challenges and developmental needs, employing trauma-informed care practices and evidenced-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field is required, along with current licensure in Washington State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Associate (LMHC-A). \n
- At least one year of experience in a behavioral or mental health setting, demonstrating practical skills in counseling. \n
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed approaches and current research in mental health. \n
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and maintain patient confidentiality. \n
- Proficiency in documentation and utilization of relevant technology in virtual therapy settings. \n

- Experience providing mental health counseling services in various settings, including pediatric care, is preferred. \n
- Knowledge of professional psychedelic integration counseling methodologies as they relate to mental health treatment. \n
- Competence in comprehensive crisis management, assessment, and understanding of complex cases. \n
- Demonstrated ability to adapt therapeutic approaches based on individual client needs and contexts. \n
