RF Mechanical Engineer II

Responsibilities Collaborate in a multi-discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF product designs Develop prototype hardware designs and coordinate fabrication Perform hands‑on integration and test support for prototype hardware Hold design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts Qualifications Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. Experience performing design and analysis for the packaging of RF products (e.g., circuit card assemblies, antennas, radomes, RF test equipment, harnesses, and interconnects) throughout the product life cycle to include 3D Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) software. Experience with creation of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for products. Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government–issued security clearance prior to start date and the ability to obtain special program access after start. Preferred Qualifications Master of Science (MS) in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering. Experience with 3D CAD design (preferably Creo Parametric). Experience in antenna and/or electronics packaging. Experience with harness and interconnect design. Experience creating engineering drawings. Experience fabricating prototype designs. Familiarity with the application of GD&T. Experience performing tolerance analysis. Experience working collaboratively in a multi‑discipline team.
