Make an impact as a virtual Special Education Case Manager supporting middle school students with mild to moderate needs. This short-term, contract opportunity spans 3 months, with the flexibility to extend based on future needs. The position is designed for individuals who thrive in a collaborative, organized, and detail-oriented environment—managing essential IEP documentation and processes, rather than providing direct services or classroom instruction.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Colorado Special Education Generalist License (required)
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, especially with IEP case management
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, compliance, and special education documentation
• Comfortable with a caseload of 24-25 students (with the potential to adjust due to new referrals)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of IEP case management for assigned middle school students
• Organize and conduct IEP meetings (virtually) with parents, staff, and service providers
• Manage all documentation, timelines, and compliance for IEPs, referrals, annual reviews, and 3-Year Reevaluations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student files
• Collaborate with school personnel to ensure student needs are met according to their IEPs
• Monitor and track deadlines to ensure timely completion of all required tasks
