Commercial Carpenter - Data Center Project - Cheyenne, WY

We are seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters to join a large-scale data center construction project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term commercial project offering steady hours, overtime, per diem, and the chance to work alongside one of the nation's top general contractors.
Job Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of rough and finish carpentry tasks on a large commercial construction site.
• Install metal stud framing, doors, frames, hardware, and interior finishes.
• Construct and maintain temporary protection systems such as safety rails, temporary walls, weather protection, stair systems, and barricades.
• Assist with concrete formwork, foundations, grade beams, footings, columns, and slab-on-grade construction.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with foremen, carpenters, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of commercial carpentry experience.
• Experience on large commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Knowledge of rough carpentry, finish carpentry, metal framing, and door/hardware installation.
• Experience with concrete formwork and foundation construction is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read construction plans and layout drawings.
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to quality workmanship.

Compensation & Benefits

• $28-$33 per hour starting pay
• Contract-to-hire opportunity
• Potential pay increases based on performance
• $100/day per diem for qualified travelers living 75+ miles from the project
• Consistent overtime available
• Long-term project stability with opportunities for advancement

Schedule

• 40-60 hours per week
• Monday through Saturday
• Sundays off

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
