We are currently searching for a Full-Time Patient Services Specialist to work with our OrthoCarolina Winston-Salem Urgent Care team. Essential Functions: Prepares paperwork necessary for the patient visit. Answers incoming phone calls and directs calls, makes appointments, performs cashier duties as directed including posting of charges. Collection of co-payments/co-insurance and balances due. Follows the process for release of medical information and FMLA/disability forms completion as requested. Skills and Abilities: Excellent customer service skills Working knowledge of insurance Epic/EMR background a plus Medical terminology Qualifications: High school graduate and/or associate or bachelor's degree Prefer minimum of one year experience in medical clinic setting. Flexible schedule 12 hour rotating schedule
