This role involves working primarily in a skilled nursing facility located in Bruceville, with training to float to an inpatient acute care hospital within the same parking lot. The position offers the opportunity to treat a variety of patients, including those with total joint replacements, stroke, pneumonia, deconditioning, and balance difficulties related to general medical conditions. Job Details Schedule: 8-hour days, with shifts starting at 08:00, including 2 weekend shifts per month Required Qualifications California Physical Therapist license BLS certification from the American Heart Association 2 years of relevant experience Certification to work in a healthcare environment Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience in either acute care or skilled nursing Preferred Qualifications Experience working independently Excellent communication skills Proficiency in performing transfers Ability to work closely with an interdisciplinary team Float Float rotation may be required. Additional Information The role involves working with inpatient and outpatient populations, primarily in areas such as total joint replacements, stroke, and neuro patients. Candidates should be prepared for inpatient-only care settings, EMR documentation using Cerner, and maintaining professional standards at all times.
