Registered Nurse (RN) / PACU
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and demonstrate a commitment to total patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the PACU.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal care for each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) - Cerner-SurgiNet.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Minimum of 1 year of critical care experience in PACU, ICU, or Emergency Department (ED).
- Ability to deliver total patient care effectively.
- Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2 to 1:1.
Schedule
This position will require a flexible schedule, including day shifts from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with a commitment of 3 shifts per week. Additionally, the RN will be required to participate in on-call availability.
