Diagnostic Radiology Extern

Location Medical Center - Fort Worth Department Radiology-Diagnostic Shift Weekend Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours 15 Summary This is a limited License position for a registry eligible Technologist. Accountable for performing quality diagnostic imaging examinations with direct supervision from a registered radiologic technologist. This position is accountable for providing direct patient care, transporting and maintaining expertise for all ages spanning from neonatal/newborn to adults. The patient acuity ranges from stable out patients to critically ill patients on full life support. Eligibility This position will be limited to second year student currently enrolled in an approved/accredited Radiology program and will not exceed 60 days after graduation. Once employee is licensed as an ARRT technologist, they are no longer qualified for this position. If continued employment is desired with Cook Childrens, employee will need to apply for an available radiographer position.
