Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled RN to provide specialized care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care to postoperative patients requiring monitoring and recovery support.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition and monitor vital signs regularly.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient recovery.
• Document patient care activities and response to treatments accurately.
• Educate patients and families on postoperative care and recovery procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of PACU or perioperative experience.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
