Job Summary

Performs routine, non-invasive clinical and technical support services under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Assists with patient care, prepares exam rooms, obtains vital signs, performs basic clinical procedures, and supports efficient clinic operations.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (Required)

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent combination of licensure and experience

• Phlebotomy Certification

• Successful completion of audiometry and vision screening training (or CHDP certificate within six months of hire)

• Previous outpatient or physician clinic experience

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient check-in.

• Obtain and document vital signs and report significant findings to the provider.

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection as ordered.

• Conduct audiometry and vision screenings.

• Maintain patient recall systems for laboratory tests, referrals, and follow-up care.

• Support patient flow and ensure accurate clinical documentation.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
