Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Employee Relations Investigations
- Serve as a Strategic HR Partner
- Drive HR Projects & Operational Excellence
- Champion Manager Engagement & Accountability
- Promote Best Practices Across Departments
- Facilitate Conflict Resolution & Coaching
- Guide Performance & Corrective Action Processes
- Oversee Unemployment Claims & Hearings
- Ensure Policy Compliance & Consistency
- Support Change Management & Organizational Initiatives
- Deliver Training & Communication
- Enhance Employee Communication & Documentation
Qualifications:
- 8 years of continuing advanced responsibilities in Human Resources service disciplines
- Acute Healthcare experience strongly preferred
- 3 years management or supervisory experience highly preferred
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws
- Experience in California wage and hour strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university required
- PHR/SPHR preferred
- Proficiency in HRIS, ATS, and timekeeping systems
- Ability to work in a fast paced work environment with shifting priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of major areas of employment law to include ADA, FMLA, CFRA, PDL, NLRA, Harassment, Discrimination, Wrongful Termination, and CA Wage and Hour
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
