The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and reliability of manufacturing equipment, including general mechanical equipment, conveyor systems, and CNC machines. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and complying with safety standards to support efficient and safe production operations. Proficiency with PLC systems is essential, and the technician will occasionally work overtime to address urgent maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain manufacturing equipment, including mechanical and electrical components
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and system failures
• Install and commission new machines and systems as required
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all maintenance activities
• Conduct system testing and diagnostics, particularly with PLC-controlled equipment
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate timely replacements
• Provide occasional overtime support for urgent maintenance needs

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance
• Strong knowledge of mechanical repair, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems
• Experience working with conveyor systems and CNC machines
• Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Understanding of safety procedures and compliance
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills
• Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks
