Job Summary

City Wide Property Services, Inc. is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations and talent initiatives across a growing multi-state workforce. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leadership, managers, and employees while overseeing employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, performance management, and HR programs. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR leader with a strong background supporting multi-state operations and developing scalable people strategies that foster business growth, compliance, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations across multiple states.
• Supervise, coach, and develop HR and Talent Acquisition team members.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Conduct and oversee workplace investigations, escalating complex matters as appropriate.
• Maintain and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Oversee employee onboarding, transitions, and offboarding processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with a strong emphasis on California employment regulations.
• Lead performance management programs and support leadership development efforts.
• Monitor and analyze HR metrics including recruiting, turnover, retention, and employee relations trends.
• Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance HR operations and employee experience.
• Travel to company offices across various states to strengthen onsite partnerships, assess HR needs, support leaders and employees, and advance HR initiatives. Travel is expected approximately every 4-6 weeks, may include overnight stays, and may vary based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• 3+ years of leadership or people management experience within an HR function.
• Experience supervising HR professionals and/or talent acquisition teams.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law and multi-state HR compliance.
• Proven experience managing employee relations, investigations, performance management, and compliance programs.
• Experience supporting a distributed, multi-site, or multi-state workforce.
• Excellent communication, coaching, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to influence and partner effectively with executives, managers, and operational leaders.
• Ability and willingness to travel to company locations approximately every 4-6 weeks, including overnight travel, with additional travel as business needs require, with or without reasonable accommodation. 
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
