In this role, you'll be an essential member of the perioperative team, supporting surgeons, nurses, and patients through a variety of outpatient surgical procedures in a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center.

What You'll Do

As a Surgical Technologist, you will provide technical support throughout the perioperative process under the direction of a Registered Nurse and according to accepted clinical standards of care.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparingsurgicalinstruments,supplies,equipment,andoperatingrooms

• Establishingandmaintainingsterilefields

• Anticipatingtheneedsofthesurgicalteamduringprocedures

• Assistingwithspecimenpreparationanddisposition

• Supportinginventorymanagementofsterilesupplies

• Maintainingknowledgeofsteriletechniqueandsurgicalinstrumentation

• Assistingwithpatienttransport,asneeded

Qualifications

Required:

• HighSchoolDiplomaorGED

• Current BLSCertificationthroughtheAmericanHeartAssociationorAmericanRedCross

• CompletionofanaccreditedSurgicalTechnologyProgram

OR

• Completionofamilitaryorhospital-basedtrainingprogramwithatleastfiveyearsofacutecareSurgicalTechnologistexperience

Preferred Skills:

• Strongunderstandingofsteriletechnique,instrumentation,andoperatingroomprocedures

• Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskills

• Commitmenttoteamworkandexceptionalpatientcare
