Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is responsible for loading and unloading trucks, handling inventory, preparing materials for production, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate is comfortable performing repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, and working efficiently to meet daily production goals.

Shift: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.50/hour
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks safely and efficiently.
• Perform repeated and consistent heavy lifting throughout the shift.
• Verify incoming and outgoing unit counts, quantities, and product conditions.
• Maintain quality standards and meet established performance expectations.
• Package, unpackage, sort, stage, and prepare units for production.
• Enter and update information in company's systems using a PC and RF handheld devices.
• Operate in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment while meeting productivity goals.
• Achieve or exceed daily production goals of 80% or higher.
• Put away and retrieve equipment, materials, and parts as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, material handling, or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting and material handling tasks.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
