About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting serving complex, high-acuity populations
• Work across multiple ICU environments, which may include Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, and IMC/Progressive/General care populations
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including telemetry, as part of routine patient assessment
• Float to other units as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements
• Adhere to facility protocols, compliance standards, and pass/fail testing requirements prior to assignment start

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required - American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the submitting specialty
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to assignment start; strict pass/fail criteria apply with up to three attempts allowed under defined conditions
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

• Experience in multiple ICU subspecialties such as Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Burn ICU, or Trauma Surgery
• Familiarity with IMC, Progressive Care, or Step-Down patient populations
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
