Power Parts and Service Coordinator

Taylor Sudden Service is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Power Parts and Service Coordinator to support our service operations, field technicians, customers, and parts inventory.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in parts, service coordination, heavy equipment, forklifts, diesel equipment, power generation, industrial equipment, or a related mechanical service environment .

What You’ll Do

As the Power Parts and Service Coordinator, you will help keep daily service operations organized and moving efficiently by:

• Coordinating service needs between customers and Field Service Technicians
• Helping identify required maintenance, repairs, and replacement parts
• Preparing service and repair estimates
• Processing parts and service orders for invoicing
• Maintaining service records and required documentation
• Tracking technician time, expenses, purchases, and service activity
• Maintaining adequate parts inventory and reordering as needed
• Researching and identifying parts using catalogs and cross-reference resources
• Expediting emergency, backordered, and daily parts shipments
• Tracking parts issued to Field Service Technicians and ensuring unused parts are returned to inventory
• Assisting customers with parts recommendations and service-related questions
• Processing and following warranty claims through completion
• Maintaining service vehicle records and issuing purchase orders for repairs and maintenance
• Supporting safety, 5S, and compliance activities within the service center

What We’re Looking For

Successful candidates should have:

• Previous experience in a parts, service, equipment, or mechanical environment
• Experience coordinating service activities with technicians and parts personnel
• Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel equipment, power generation, or related equipment
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn web-based systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor and confidence working with customers and outside contacts
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely operate a forklift
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and perform the physical requirements of the position

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Parts and/or service industry experience preferred
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Experience supporting Field Service Technicians, mechanics, or equipment service operations is highly desirable
