This job may include a classroom teaching requirement of 9-22.5 hours per week.If you are highly organized, enjoy the details of administrative as well as \"people work,\" and have good communication and computer skills, this role could help you to take your career in a new direction.Success in this role is accomplished through collaboration and partnering with campus staff and key corporate personnel to ensure compliance, positive outcomes, strong site operations and a healthy and positive working environment for students, staff and faculty.Associate Director duties include:Monitors student retention and placement rates for all programs to ensure campus meets established goals and assists staff with improvement plans if necessaryActively participates in new student orientation and assists with student equipment setupServes as Lead Faculty for Medical Assistant and Medical Insurance Billing Office Administrative ProgramsAssists Regional Campus Director in identifying and interviewing potential faculty membersArranges for onboarding of new instructors and faculty trainingSchedules and conducts student externship site phone conferences, Externship Follow-up Evaluations and completes appropriate paperworkCollaborate with Career Services to ensure all externship requirements are completedShow consistent improvement in student retention with each program meeting, at a minimum, the ABHES standard of 70% and striving for Ross standard of 80%, while meeting the monthly drop budgetStrive for positive survey results of 85% or above on Faculty Evaluations and Student Opinion SurveysBenefitsHealth, Dental & Vision InsurancePaid Time Off401(k)Life InsuranceTuition ReimbursementMonthly Pay and Direct DepositRequirementsAn associate’s degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), preferably in the allied health field or a closely related field, bachelor’s degree preferred.Ability to work at least two evenings a weekExperience in educational methodology such as curriculum development, educational psychology, faculty management, training, staff development and/or classroom teaching experience3+ years of full-time work experience within the past 7 years, in a health care setting with clinical, or clinical & administrative experience, including a minimum of 40 hours of experience in an ambulatory health care setting (where medical care is delivered on an outpatient basis)License, certification or registration in related field* Management responsibilities, including staff supervision, projects, goal achievement, compliance and budgetDemonstrated leadership, communication and coaching skillsAbility to interview and hire effectivelyAbility to achieve or maintain credential and/or licensure within expected time framesAbility to remain objective and treat all students equallyMust have sufficient ability to move around the building and classroom to satisfy student needs and/or facilitate student participation.Must have sufficient visual and auditory ability to operate computer equipment, use telephone, read materials, use whiteboard and use classroom equipment.Reference and background check required for employment, including credit checkProtection of student and/or employee privacy is expected in the handling of confidential and/or financial information.Professional communication encompasses written, oral, visual and digital communication. Every six months they will have a check-in with Human Resources and their Regional Campus Director to confirm progress towards the degree completion.
