The Strategic Defense Solution (SDS) team is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team as a Cross Product Team Lead (CPTL).The CPTL Electrical Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintenance of the program budget and schedule, as well as intensive coordination across stakeholders to meet the objectives of the program. The CPTL will be involved in all phases of the product life including design/development, brainstorming sessions, supplier support, manufacturing support, and other sustaining activities.Sign-on Bonus Eligible What You Will Do:• Lead the Hardware team interfacing directly with the Chief Engineers, Program Managers and other CPTL’s to prioritize tasks, define scope and ensure technical goals are achieved.• Take ownership of technical project execution through Design & Development activities into Production.• Present project status to multiple levels of Leadership and the customer.• Work as part of a cohesive team with Mechanical Engineering, Firmware Engineering, Test Engineering, Product Engineering, System Engineering, Software Engineering, Program Management and Operations.• Maintain and oversee Earned Value Management (EVM) as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).• Breakdown Work Package and tasking for execution.Qualifications You Must Have:• Experience in EVMS/CAM.• Experience in board level design and development.• Technical Expertise in Electrical Engineering.•Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
