Work Environment\nThis position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a collaborative and professional atmosphere. While you will mainly operate in a remote capacity, opportunities for in-office meetings at our outpatient facility may arise as needed.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and identify effective treatment approaches. \n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific trauma-related needs, aligning interventions with each patient’s recovery goals. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients in their healing journeys. \n
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, creating structured settings for patients to process trauma, develop coping strategies, and enhance their resilience. \n
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for each patient. \n
- Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they receive timely and compassionate assistance. \n
- Offer education and resources to patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and availability of support systems. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently. \n
- Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to the collective knowledge and practices focused on trauma-informed care. \n
- Stay informed on recent research developments and best practices in the field of trauma therapy, implementing new strategies to enhance patient outcomes. \n
Your primary focus will be on serving individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other distressing life events. You will play a crucial role in guiding these patients through their recovery processes, helping them to rebuild their lives and regain a sense of control. Understanding trauma and its effects is essential in fostering trust and creating effective therapeutic alliances with each client.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Your licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW must be current and valid in Massachusetts. \n
- A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working in a clinical setting is preferred. \n
- Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and the ability to apply trauma-informed treatment modalities effectively. \n
- Proficient in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, demonstrating success in past therapeutic settings. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach toward patients. \n
- Ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations while providing thoughtful support. \n
- Familiarity with EHR systems and other relevant technology is essential for seamless patient interactions and documentation. \n
- A collaborative mindset to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team. \n

- Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting, specifically focusing on trauma recovery. \n
- Hands-on experience with diverse presentation styles and practicing multiple therapeutic modalities. \n
- A track record of working within interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans. \n
The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our compensation package also includes:
