7-8 years ServiceNow ITSM Senior Developer

Technical Competency:

• Experience as a ServiceNow ITSM Developer and implementing incident management, problem management, change management, knowledge management, or service catalog, mobile app, virtual agent
• Ability to configure ServiceNow ITSM applications in alignment with approved design plans
• Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client-specific testing
• Experience with developing ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, one or more web services, XML, HTML and CSS
• Familiarity with SQL query creation and LDAP query for connecting to and pulling data from Oracle, MySQL databases and AD respectively
• Worked with and understands the value in creating repeatable processes to design development, test, staging and production environments that are reliable with high availability
• Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
• Should possess knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Basic knowledge with ITIL/industry standards
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Including experience with the Service Catalog module and creating custom applications
• Experience creating request forms, developing integration with external systems, implementing security (including Access Control Lists), and enhancing the user interface to provide a custom look and feel
• Ability to implement moderate to complex custom widgets and backend scripting
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and functionalities
• Hands-on experience in configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, complex workflows and solution migration to higher environment
• Experience in developing ServiceNow integrations using APIs, web services, and data imports/exports
• Experience in Workflows, SLAs, Import Sets and Update Sets
• Experience in creation of Record Producers and Catalogue Items using Variables, Variable Sets
• Working knowledge to schedule jobs, events, and triggers to manage business needs
• Experience in creating transform maps and Import sets for uploading the bulk data through sheets
• Solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes
• Must have experience in Service Now Custom Development
• Sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals – data structures, algorithms, operating system concepts
• Excellent analytical skills, methodical problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills
