The Disassembly Technician Lead manages a team of disassembly technicians overseeing the disassembly of enterprise level workstations and servers in a production environment. More specifically, the disassembly lead manages the flow of incoming palletized purchase orders and distributing them to the disassembly team ensuring product is processed in an efficient, safe, and timely manner. They are responsible for unloading inbound shipments with the forklift, keeping track of purchase order status, purchase order disassembly and receiving, purchase order reconciliation, and leading the disassembly team on a daily basis. This includes but may not be limited to: training, process improvements, QC checks, daily forklift duties, and performing the disassembly technician role itself.

 

Responsibilities:

· Produce regular KPI reports for management review

· Process improvements to improve quality, reduce errors and increase efficiency

· Establishing 3s checklists and driving team adherence

· Communicate with internal departments

· Manage team effectively, meeting deadlines and improving quality

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Strong leadership skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Strong Communication skills

· Self-motivated

· 1+ Year (s) computer hardware experience

· Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)

· 1+ year(s) in a leadership role

· 2+ years forklift experience

· Warehouse inventory experience

 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

· Forklift Certification

· 2+ year(s)

· Advanced Skill Level in Microsoft Excel

· 2+ year(s) using a bin-enabled WMS

· COMPTI A+ Certification
