Overview
Speech Language Pathologist – Long Term Care in a K-12 school-based setting in Federal Way, WA. This travel assignment starts on 09/02/2026 and runs for 41 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,298 to $2,523 per week. There are no guaranteed hours. The shift is 5x8 days, with hours typically 08:00 to 16:00. One day per week can be scheduled on any day except Friday.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat students with speech and language disorders, documenting findings and progress.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP-related goals and plans of care in collaboration with teachers, families, and related service personnel.
- Provide direct therapy and consultative services across articulation, language, voice, fluency, and social communication areas as appropriate for each student.
- Maintain thorough documentation, session notes, and progress reporting in compliance with school policies and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate effectively with families and school staff.
- Manage a reasonable caseload and adapt therapy plans based on student progress and changing needs.

Requirements
- Active SLP license in Washington state or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice in Washington.
- CCC-SLP certification or state licensure equivalent.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Ability to work in a school-based setting and follow IEP processes; comfortable with collaboration across educational staff.
- Experience in school-based settings or long-term care is preferred but not required.
