Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipe Fitter to join our team on the Gulf Coast. As a Pipe Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in various settings in a shipyard enviorment. If you have a passion for precision and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
Measure and cut pipes using various tools and techniques to ensure accurate fittings.
Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and malfunctions.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project efficiency.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Ability to Tack with various diciplines of welding

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in the marine environment
Minimun 4 years pipefitting experiance
Basic math and reading skills
Knowledge of the layout, fit-up, fabrication and installation of pipe, flanges and valves
Ability to use various hand tools
Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
