Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipe Fitter to join our team on the Gulf Coast. As a Pipe Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in various settings in a shipyard enviorment. If you have a passion for precision and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems according to specifications and blueprints.
- Measure and cut pipes using various tools and techniques to ensure accurate fittings.
- Inspect and test piping systems for leaks and malfunctions.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to ensure project efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ability to Tack with various diciplines of welding
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in the marine environment
- Minimun 4 years pipefitting experiance
- Basic math and reading skills
- Knowledge of the layout, fit-up, fabrication and installation of pipe, flanges and valves
- Ability to use various hand tools
- Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
