Brightway Insurance is seeking an experienced and motivated Homeowners Insurance Sales Producer to join our growing agency in the Miami-Dade market. This role is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who understands the unique challenges of the South Florida property insurance market and has hands-on experience quoting and binding homeowners insurance through multiple carriers, including Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.

What You’ll Do

• Sell and write new homeowners insurance policies throughout Miami-Dade County.
• Work with inbound leads, referral partners, mortgage professionals, real estate agents, and self-generated prospects.
• Quote coverage through Brightway’s carrier partners using QuoteRush and other agency management tools.
• Determine eligibility for standard, preferred, and Citizens placements.
• Educate clients on coverage options, deductibles, wind mitigation, flood insurance, and South Florida property exposures.
• Submit accurate applications and supporting documentation to carriers.
• Follow up on quotes and renewals to maximize close ratios and retention.
• Cross-sell complementary personal lines products when appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida 2-20 or 20-44 Property & Casualty License.
• 2+ years of recent homeowners insurance sales experience in Florida.
• Demonstrated experience using QuoteRush for multi-carrier property quoting.
• Prior experience writing business with Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Wind mitigation inspections
  • 4-point inspections
  • Roof age and underwriting guidelines
  • Flood insurance requirements
  • South Florida property underwriting challenges
• Proven ability to close new business and manage a sales pipeline.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the Miami-Dade / South Florida insurance market.
• Existing relationships with local mortgage lenders, real estate agents, or referral partners.
• Experience with AgencyZoom, AMS360, HawkSoft, or similar agency management systems.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
