ORTHOPAEDIC UPPER EXTREMITY HAND SURGEON  

Florida Orthopaedic Institute is recognized for our renowned and board-certified physicians and have been named amongst the best orthopedic surgeons in the U.S. by providing comprehensive, subspecialty expertise in trauma, sports medicine, foot and ankle, hand and upper extremity, hip and knee reconstruction, shoulder and elbow, interventional pain, and spine subspecialties.  

With a team of 173+ physicians across the State of Florida, we are excited to grow our team even further.  We are currently seeking a Fellowship Trained Hand/Upper Extremity Surgeon to join our team and help support out expanding presence in the Gainesville and Ocala communities.   

Physicians will practice in our new, nearly 50,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility (opening April 2027) in Gainesville, designed to provide an exceptional experience for both patients and providers. The center features advanced cross-sectional imaging capabilities, modern clinical space, physical and occupational therapy and a dedicated ambulatory surgery center, creating a highly efficient environment for comprehensive orthopedic care. In addition, we are investing in the future growth of our regional footprint through the renovation of a 15,000-square-foot facility in Ocala, which will serve as a dedicated orthopedic clinic with integrated physical and occupational therapy services. Together, these facilities reflect our commitment to innovation, accessibility, and delivering outstanding musculoskeletal care across the region.
