Lawyers on Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is assisting a mid-sized, full-service commercial law firm in seeking an experienced Patent Litigation Attorney to join its team on a temporary, fully remote basis. Details Start: August 2026 Duration: 3–6 months, with potential for extension based on case needs Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Location: Fully remote Compensation: $100–$120/hour, dependent on experience Responsibilities Manage all aspects of complex patent litigation in federal courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) Draft and review substantive motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents Manage all phases of fact and expert discovery Prepare for and take and defend depositions Assist with overall case strategy, development, and management Candidate Qualifications Extensive experience handling complex patent litigation, preferably within a large law firm environment Demonstrated ability to independently manage significant aspects of patent litigation from discovery through hearings and other substantive proceedings Substantial experience with federal court patent litigation and PTAB proceedings Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction , in good standing, is required New York and/or New Jersey bar admission is preferred USPTO registration/practitioner status is a plus LOD is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
