Engineering project manager

job summary:
Seeking an Engineering Project Manager for a high growth capital equipment development and manufacturer in the Reading, MA area.

The Engineering Project Manager would be responsible for leading complex projects from strategy to execution, driving go-to-market outcomes while balancing trade-offs and aggressive timelines. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations, rapidly resolve or escalate blockers, lead phase gate reviews, and maintain clear, concise communication with project sponsors and key stakeholders.

responsibilities:

• Drive Business Outcomes: Execute projects that meet strategic go-to-market and product goals.
• Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end execution, balance trade-offs, and set achievable project milestones using modern PM methodologies.
• Proactive Execution & Escalation: Direct daily operations, resolve issues rapidly, and escalate blockers through leadership as needed.
• Governance & Communication: Lead phase gate reviews and deliver clear, synthesized updates to sponsors and executive stakeholders.

Experience with complex electro-mechanical capital equipment

Experience with product development (full lifecycle, cradle to grave)
